Prairie Chicks Scrapbook Challenge #13- Jen's

We hope everyone is having a Happy Holiday season. Although there hasn't been much time for crafting during this busy time, I (Jen) have been looking forward to the new year and some new crafting projects that are waiting for me to get started. One of the things I want to start in the new year is a project life or project 365 scrapbook. The idea is to take pictures once a day or a few a week to document the little things in life not just the big moments. I know there are several takes on this style of scrapbooking all over the internet and many have already been doing it for a few years but this year I wanted to try it as my kids are getting older and it will feel as if their lives will be moving on too soon. If you want to get an idea of what this method is like you can check out Ali Edwards blog here. I will try to update you on my progress as I go along. I decided taking pictures every day was a little much so I will do week by week. This will also make a smaller album in the end and keep me from getting carried away.

Anyways back to our challenge on scrapbooking your favorite Christmas memories. You can do anything but the only catch is to use chipboard and glitter somewhere on the page. This is my Christmas layout.

As I was thinking of what kind of layout to do I went back through all the pictures we had of the kids on Christmas morning opening their presents it dawned on me that I should do a page on where it all began. The Christmas morning my husband of 20 years proposed to me. I didn't have a picture to go with the moment so I had to invent one, which made me realize my hands didn't look the same as they did 21 years ago, lol, but oh well.
