Memories Wholesale Retailer's Event

A couple of weeks ago Tammy and myself went to Edmonton for the Memories Wholesale Retailer's Event which was filled with fun classes from great companies like Bo Bunny, Tim Holtz for Ranger, Graphic 45, My Little Yellow Bicycle, Copic, Clearsnap and We R Memory Keepers.
With all this new info and learned techniques we hope to bring you some great classes in the fall.

So here is a little summary of the things we did.

This was the We R Memory Keepers class

We played with the Cinch to make this cute notebook (sorry Tammy:)

The classes were pretty fast paced so I didn't get mine finished.

The much anticipated Tim Holtz/Ranger class, totally awesome!

Mario

Tim of course

These were the tags I (Jen) made, Tammy had different colors so hers look totally different and cool (we all had the same supplies but different colors)

These are for you Barb :)

Graphic 45 class, where we met the owner and designer of Graphic 45, Diane Schultz, what an awesome, super nice lady.

Diane teaching us the class

This is the album we made using Le Cirque and a make and take tag from the Graphic 45 booth

Bo Bunny card class. These ladies were a lot of fun.

My Little Yellow Bicycle

Bo Bunny make and take at their booth.

Other Make and takes from Sizzix, Cosmo Cricket, The Girls Paperie, Karen Foster, We R Memory Keepers, Clearsnap and My Mind's Eye.

At the end of the weekend we took a tour of the Memories Wholesale warehouse (not for the scrapbook supply faint of heart:) Seeing that many scrapbook goodies in one place put us in mental comas, but Tammy picked out some awesome goodies that you have to come check out at the store. I hope to post a few in the next week or so. Stay tuned..

Card of the Month Error

For those doing March's card of the month I made some mistakes in the cutting instructions for paper C, the coral colored cardstock, I totally forgot to add the matting for the butterfly image, these are the new cutting instructions. You may not have enough paper to cut a matt for the greeting but may be able to use some of the other left over paper in the kit. If you have already cut the coral paper we will give you another piece of the coral cardstock to matt the butterfly. We are very sorry for the mistake. You can call us at 306-225-4787 or email us at prairiechicks@sasktel.net

March Card of the Month

Here are March's cards

card #1

Card #2 Just a note, you will probably have to trim down the butterfly image to fit the card better. They were not cut to be used as is.
