Prairie Chicks Scrapbook Challenge #14- Barb's

Challenge #14 is a technique challenge. We can only use plain cardstock for our layouts (no pattern paper) but we must make the paper patterned using stamps, stencils or whatever technique we wish. We can use any embellishments that we want.

Here is Barb's layout

First Barb stamped all the hearts white on the background paper, dried it, then rubbed 3 different shades of pink everywhere and blended them together to give a mottled pattern. She then took a damp cloth and rubbed most of the pink off the hearts for this beautiful, subtle pattern. Journaling was done on a large darker pink heart with a scalloped edge. Prima flowers and Kaisercraft bling sets the page off with a cute cutout for the title.

Prairie Chicks Scrapbook Challenge #13- Amanda's

This is the last "Favorite Christmas Memories" layout to show you from our staff. If you would like to show us your layouts, you can upload them to our facebook page or email a photo to prairiechicks@sasktel.net and we could post it on next weeks blog post. You can do anything but the only catch is to use chipboard and glitter somewhere on the page.

 This is Amanda's Christmas layout.
