Our Staff Summer Quilting Challenge -Amanda

For the summer we are doing a table runner challenge. We are taking a break from our layout challenge so that we can replace a lot of our table runner samples that have been on display for a long time.  Each staff member has picked a pattern and a fabric line and has made a table runner.

Amanda picked the pattern "I Strip" from the book "Stripology" by Gudrun Erla for GE Designs and the fabric she chose is "Chipper" by Tula Pink.

2016 Block of the Month - July

Sorry for the delay in posting Julys block!  This year in honour of our 10th Anniversary, our Block of the Month is called "Anniversary Medallion".  Each month we will be adding to the center "medallion".  It will be a stunning finished quilt!!  We supply the colored fabrics for each block, the quilter chooses their own background fabric so every quilt will be very different.  Here is the progress of the block for July in each color way.

For the summer we are doing things a little different. We will be taking a break from our layout challenge so that we can replace a lot of our table runner samples that have been on display for a long time.  Each staff member has picked a pattern and a fabric line and has made a table runner.

Lilly's table runner was in the colors grey, navy, coral and teal. The pattern was from an Anka's Treasures book "The Trendy Table" by Heather Peterson.
