Card Buffet Day!!!

Well today is the day of the Card Buffet (Apparently I also write for Dr. Seuss)!!  Can't wait to see all the varieties of cards made.  With this kind of weather, crafting seems to be the only logical solution.  Do you feel that way too?  Hope to see you all there.  Goodies, coffee and cards, YUM!!  Come out noon-9pm to get in on the goods!

Talk about living in a deep freeze this past week, this morning it's -30C, brrrrr! -42C with the windchill. Hope you all are staying warm (great day to get out your supplies and do some scrapbooking).

For those of you just tuning into our blog, every six weeks we have a scrapbook challenge going on. It's just for fun to get the creative juices flowing and hopefully inspire you to follow along. Each week we highlight the creations that one member of our staff has come up with for the challenge. This week we are featuring Lilly's page using the color swatch we borrowed from Design Seeds. Card Makers Dream!

Come get your fill at our Card Buffet this Friday noon-9pm!!  We will have a HUGE selection of supplies, die-cuts, embellishments, etc. set up buffet style in our workshop, all ready for you to come and make cards.  No need to book a spot, just show up with your adhesive and paper trimmer.  Stay for as long as you like and make as many cards as you would like.  Cost is $1.50 (plus taxes) per card.

Happy New Year to everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful start to 2012. We are starting the new year with our fifth scrapbook challenge, and we are totally enjoying stretching our creativity past how we would normally scrapbook or use our paper supplies. Challenge 5 is a color challenge. If you want to try new color schemes we found this site through Pinterest ( totally addicting ) with great color combos called Design Seeds. Here is the link.
